What is "Better Lists for Salesforce"?

Better Lists for Salesforce, is an extension for the Chrome browser which highlights cells and rows in Salesforce list views based on your rules.
You can setup different rules, assign them a color and specify on which list views you want the cells to be highlighted.
Note that the extension currently only works within lightning.

Rules

A rule defines when and how to highlight cells or rows.

See the menu

Click the button with the blue highlighting pen in Chrome.

Create a new rule (1st method)

To create a new rule, click on the "+" on the home page of Better Lists for Salesforce. Give the word list an appropriate name (e.g. Brands).

Set the condition for the highlighting using 3 attributes.
Column Name: provide the name of the column in the List view (e.g. Priority)
Condition: provide the compare condition you want to use (e.g. Equal)
Column Value: type the value when you want to highlight (e.g. High)

You can set foreground and background colors for the highlighting. The easiest is to select colors from the proposed palette, but you can also choose your own by typing an HTML color code.

Define if you want the highlighter to highlight only cells or complete rows.

Easy way to create a rule

The easiest way to create a rule is to right click a list view cell and click "+ Better Lists for Salesforce rule". This will fill in the condition and url for highlighting.
